Romero Joins with Rafael Piccolotto and a Chamber Jazz Orchestra, Captured "Live at Dizzy's" in NYC

On this stunning album, "Live at Dizzy's," guitarist Romero Lubambo experiences a first as he teams up with composer, arranger and conductor Rafael Piccolotto de Lima to present his music with the more expansive color and texture palette of a 12-piece chamber jazz orchestra, recorded live at the famous Lincoln Center showcase in New York City over four nights in January 2019.

On their exhilarating acoustic Brazilian jazz quartet album "At Play," Romero Lubambo (acoustic guitar), Helio Alves (acoustic piano), Edu Ribeiro (drums) and Reuben Rogers (double bass) deliver a nine-song collection of originals and covers, including tracks by legendary Brazilian songwriters Caetano Veloso, Dori Caymmi, Joao Bosco and Debora Gurgel. "At Play," captures lightning in a bottle, infused with soaring energy.

Edu Lobo, Romero Lubambo & Mauro Senise, "Dos Navegantes"

"Dos Navegantes," which won a Latin Grammy in 2017, with Edu Lobo (vocals), Romero Lubambo (guitar and guitar) and Mauro Senise (sax and flute) — along with Cristóvão Bastos (piano), Bruno Aguilar (percussion) and Mingo Araújo (percussion) — captures a live performance at the Cecília Meireles Hall in Rio De Janeiro, and features a collection of songs by Lobo that demonstrates the maturity of the trio's combined talents.
